Build shipyard in Skirmish Deathmatch?
Hi,

I'd like to know why it is impossible to build anything with the construction ships when playing a skirmish deathmatch.

The build options for the construction ships remain greyed out for me when I play that mode.

It is because I have not completed setting up the construction ships, I will get that done eventually :D

I'm glad it's going to be worked on, i was so confused XD also i dunno if this is part of the "in development" process but the shipyards frame seems to dance wildly in front of the construction ship.

So if construction isn't finished is any of the mod playable?(or perhaps i should download the other generations until this one is done?) i'm really liking the detail of the mod and how it feels like a star trek RTS.

I think it's somewhat playable with most races. There's certainly quirks which I think are because of development being in progress. Playing DM against the romulans is tough. They will cloak themselves. The passive AI behaviour compounds the problem of getting their flagship.

hmm maybe it was just death match? i was playing federation vs borg in my attempts at the mod. so if there's a more stable part of the game i can play that's similar n build more than just fighters n have real battles i'd definitely like that. excited for the star trek mods to grow into a regular part of my gaming :)

I was playing deathmatch and I couldn't build any ships. they were all greyed out. Anyone know what I might be missing? I did research offensive or defensive option for the ships

Try restarting the Base Game file and reinstalling the game. hopefully that should do the trick.
