GOG version error
The custom map loaded includes an invalid map file. The changes will affect the main quest character. Pls use a new one.

Both for single player and mutliplayer error

That's normal, it's a bounce mod. It's meant to be played using the main quest character.
However, don't worry; xmax is 100% compatible with a regular game character and I plan to keep it that way.

thx for clarifying, now that i read the error again, it actually not an error, i just need to run the main game to use the mod. :)
