Thanks for the support and feedback thus far, everyone! It means so much and you guys give me quite a bit of confidence. Although, there are some comments that I feel that I must address.

This taunt should be multi-class! Or maybe even all-class!
The main idea of this taunt was to portray a stereotypical American showing his pride for his country. You may be thinking, "Scout and Engineer are American as well." You're right, but you don't really see many signs of patriotism from both the Engineer and the Scout. To have them salute to the American flag is very unfitting for their character. You guys suggest that maybe the other classes should do something else other than salute, but that kind of completely changes what the taunt is supposed to be. I don't think making it multi-class is worth doing.

The flag should have different styles for different flags!
As I stated before, multi-class wouldn't work for this specific taunt. That means different flags are also out of the question. Soldier is strictly a stereotypical American, that's all he is. Having him salute to different flags is not what he would do. I kept in mind what type of character he is and decided to do the American flag only.

Well if we can't do other flags, why not have flags based off of the team logos?!
Think about it like this. If you worked at a company, and they created a flag using their logo, would you salute to that? Quite frankly, I don't think it makes sense. Having him salute to the American flag, however, does. He's an American and he loves the United States of America. Why shouldn't he salute to his own flag?

But people will get offended if you use the American flag!
Some people are concerned that anyone outside of the United States would be offended that the American flag was used, but in reality, Soldier's personality is highly satirical, not many people are truly offended by his character because he's poking fun at American stereotypes.

The flag should be compatible with the decal tool!
Wouldn't that look strange? I don't know, maybe it's just me. Besides, I don't think the community can even put decal compatibility on cosmetics. The decal tool has been abandoned quite a long time ago anyway.

This taunt should loop!
Initially, this was the plan. However, I think it would be awkward if Soldier just stood there doing nothing. The reason I considered this was because of the whole "moment of silence" thing when you salute to the flag. I do think it's a good idea but at the same time I don't. If Valve accepts this taunt in the future and thinks it's a good idea themselves, maybe they can make it loop, but I'm not going to take the effort for something that might seem weird to me.

This should be a "Frontline!" taunt!
You know? I agree with you. Originally this was supposed to be a Frontline taunt. The thing is, I don't really want to make it a Frontline taunt quite yet. That might make me a horrible person because I'm not really supporting the project by adding my taunt to the collection, but Corvalho and I just decided to leave it out until Valve says something about Frontline. Sorry guys!

Just wanted to say some things about those frequent comments I've been getting. Overall, the taunt is being received quite positively, and I can't thank you all enough for that. Even if my taunt doesn't get in, your support makes me happy. Thank you all!
