No idea. Leeds can still destroy the raft in a couple of hits, so it doesn't help in that regard.

remember to set raftmodifiers to true

I had set raft modifiers to true before testing.

The setting is working fine on my server the leeds will still hit it but it does no damage here are my settings [AdvRaftSettings]
RaftModifiers=True
PublicInventory=False
MetalRafts=True

so all advanced rafts counts as a metal raft if this setting is on? thats keind of OP i would say... specially with the really low price of the rafts... so its off for my server at least :P

The metal boat gets a gas powered engine that makes it go faster. I hope he adds it to the mod, because although it uses gas, the sound is awesome for making destroyers and the like.

hey question any one know how to get teh Lraft out of the engram list im looking for it but owwh menn...

The MetalRafts setting doesn't seem to work with the small advanced raft, however it does work with the large advanced raft
