I've been playing for a couple days and I have trouble even getting to 1 thousand credits in a timely manner, so far my main moneymakers have been owned planet income, (I only own one planet) and work that the bartenders give out, and it really ♥♥♥♥♥ up the games flow considering until I can get a faster ship, I'm going to get softlocked because every time I get captured and escape they catch me in 2 seconds and capture me again, taking away one of my Items every time I get caught. So does anybody know of any better ways to earn money? because as it is I'm unable to progress due to this.
