There's probably going to be something Star Wars related for Bannerlord once the editing tools are available. I think this modder left the project though.

Gutted the modder has left - I wonder why that would be...... I am a big fan of Star wars of course but i enjoy other SciFi too and really want to try something different and bring to life a Mass Effect MOD. very passionate about making this happen.

Not sure, he left before I even downloaded the mod, but someone continued the conversion he started. That version was updated December 2019. It's on ModDB and called The New Order Edition.

The issue with asking about a Bannerlord star wars project is there will be a long wait no matter how you look at it. Mod tools wont be released until Bannerlord is or close to its full release. Who knows how long this early access phase will be. Could be even a year or more. However assets can still be made now for a future project in Bannerlord...but without intimate knowledge on the tools and how they can be implemented any work done now could potentially be just a waste of time. There is already a page on Mod DB for a Lord of The Rings Bannerlord mod, its worth a look if your interested in early Bannerlord mod dev stuff

how about making bannerlord mod of this and naming it STAR WARS The Calradia Expanded?

We worked on this for over ~8 years and released multiple versions for the original Mount&Blade.

Recently, Kham was kind enough to do his own version, we originally talked about replacing the buggy version of SWC for Warband altogether, but because he based it on Diplomacy and the original SWC is still different we decided to keep them separate. That's that The New Order is, a spin off by someone I know for a while, with a lot of help from other community members... and a good way of playing a single player Star Wars mod on Warband.

If you want to play the best version of SWC you still need M&B 1.011. As you guys know, the Warband port is unfinished, for now. My modding time is currently limited to some maintenance work for The Last Days. Others may carry the torch forward, hopefully we'll get to see some cool stuff in a matter of years.
