upgrading rancors
it doesnt seem like im able to upgrade them past baby rancors are they supposed to be this xp intensive or does it take time or what

You need a lot of experience. The final upgrade is probably the most powerful unit in the game.

i got to mutant baby rancor but there is no upgrade bar passt that is the mutant rancor the last upgrade?

Yes. Mutant rancor is best rancor. They walk slow but wreck havoc all around. A bit like a tank.
