General direction of updates?
Just from my quick look-through of the change notes, most of the work done is essentially to iron out all the reported bugs, or as many as possible. Considering that, has anyone gone through to update this port into a more warband-esque fashion? Put in all the stuff that wasn't in the original m&b with a star wars twist? Is that even on the table? Or is next up gonna be putting in more content like the shadow guards or the storm commandos? They already have the items one would need to make the unit after all.

Simply put, could I mod my text files without having to worry about spending a couple hours redoing all my editing because something new, beyond patches, comes out? XD

I'm in low maintenance mode, but we recently made the full source code open source:

So feel free to tweak your units through the Module System without having to fiddle with unstable text files that break all the time. I'm now generally busy, so I have had to reduce my modding time to a minimum.

All my modding consists of tiny text file changes like allow 500 credit bets, or increase trade revenue, or increased arena fighting rewards (cause they always have been garbage let's be honest here). Also I've used morghs to beef up the troops to perisno, pop, na levels since the A.I. isn't anywhere near competent enough to threaten the player without 300+ prof and decent 21+ stats with corresponding skills. Not as much of a problem here cause blasters are king, but units like the rancors, even as babies, are woefully under-stat-lined. Ended up making their bodies have 150+ armour all around and 200+ strength, just to showcase their brutality ;D. Oh, that reminds me, gotta make their attack able to crush through blocks.

But yeah, I can't really call myself a modder so much as just a personal tweaker. I wouldn't have the faintest clue what to do with the code even with the module system, as I've never been able to get it to work. Thanks for popping in and letting me know I wouldn't be overwritting new troop, item, etc. txt files from later updates.

500 credit size bets would be awesome! Find a modding team who is working on this mod and do that.

I've already done it XD

How would one send a file over steam? I could just give you a copy of my text file or link you to the taleworlds forum thread for quick txt modding.

Well I know that. lol I mean joining a modding team to insert that into their mod or all mods in the future.
