Try scaling down your battles- it sounds like your PC is being taxed too heavily and is CTDing as a result (probably due to lack of memory or inability to access more of it). The CTDs on the ship are probably because everyone is packed together at such a high concentration that it puts strain on your memory usage.

Thats a good bet, but if you do have decent builds and they dont normally crash post an RGL_Log for Swyter to take a a look at.
