Generals?
Despite being Warband, it seems that the game doesn't allow you to take any generals or get right-to-rule. I really hope I am missing something.

Am I missing something? Or is it actually that way?

You can recruit generals through the stationing tab, but they are random and depend on what culture you pick. The mod doesn't have most warband features due to it being a port from the original M&B.
