How the Endgame Works
I was wondering, how exactly is the mod supposed to end. Are you supposed to start your own faction and eliminate all others or maybe you're made to help one of the existing factions maintain or liberate the galaxy. I have done both to some extent and in my eyes the faction management is quite limited giving me the idea that you have to help one of the 3 main ones but knowing what I know of the game I would assume that is not the best final solution. Maybe someone can clarify or inform me of Swyter's end plan

I helped the imperials fight the rebels, got tired of imperials and switched to rebels and fought imperials, got tired of rebels, left rebellion destroyed Hutts and took over the Galaxy.

I ran into a bunch of Tuskan Raiders and died. Then I retired.

Well, that's an open-ended question. Mount and Blade is an open world RPG/real time tactics game. The goal of the mod is to add Star Wars flavor to the game, so playing it is very much the same (one experiences basically the same missions, the same mechanics, et cetera). Help out a faction, be an independent, or sign up in the service of a noble as a mercenary captain? The choices are there for you to decide. And obviously, the choices determine the gameplay and thus the "story" the player perceives, which probably is why Mount and Blade is such a popular game -- memorable, humorous, or otherwise tragic events are woven together to create an interconnected and followable plot.

There's no real "end game" because the game itself is designed for maximum playability -- nobles (generals) don't die, and can magically regenerate their armies and escape imprisonment. The player basically has no way to permanently lose (even being captured leads to a release some days after). Unlike With Fire and Sword, there's no integrated and advancable questline which leads to "game over" -- unless the player decides to stop playing, the game goes on and on. Although, I suppose you could help a faction to the point where it conquers the entire galaxy, reconquer the galaxy as an independent, and run out of interesting things to do besides fighting militant bands of Jawas.

But the Jawas are a real terrifying threat to the galaxy far worse than Yuuzhan Vong

Also those Deserter armies get riddiculously large over time. But true. There is a point in which the player becomes an sheer unstopable galactic force. Last time i played in the very end of the game i could have an army of over 200 in the end.

I understand what your saying and that's what I have viewed it as in the normal game, although in this mod the core features of ruling a kingdom/empire have been removed, like diplomatic structure and vassel converting, so it makes me questin if your even supposed to rule one and i've tried working as a lord but it seems just like the base games vassel system with only a few diffrent features. In a shorter manner i'm not asking for a set end but just what seems the closest to it.

It would be a cool endgame feature thing, if you could go to a Sith Temple, and meet a spirit of an

Ancient Sith Lord,( like Marka Ragnos or Darth Revan and this would be like a claimant feature,

you need to show your worth to the sith, and then they're your master. And then help them

conquer the galaxy, or a quest to go and find the remaining jedi (get afew new companions that

are jedi) and go forth to conquer the galaxy. Or die trying. And once you do this it would come up

with "You have conquered the galaxy for your new master" if you're sith, and if you're jedi, "You

have brought peace to the galaxy, feel good." That would be a good endgame. I hope the

implement it.

Other then the double space lines, you have some pretty good ideas.

Yeah this game really needs a Claimant feature like that to complete it. Of course I wish this game was a Knights Of The Old Republic Styled Mod. Or a post Galantic Civil War mod were you'd have the Imperial Remant and The New Republic and other factions.

@ThatGuy, Turns out I also had the Idea for the Parabellum before it was made... Odd.
Also if I could find like, Maul or someone, to be an apprentice to my life on gaming would be complete.
And, if we get a Faction, and we're sith, it would be cool to get a companion (randomised) and he would be an apprentice.

The Last Days of the Third age, posted by Swyter, has an option in the mod options screen. It is perma-death for you and lords. Can he enable it on here? I made a discussion about this so comment on that discussion.
