War of the worlds (litteraly)
I wonder if theres a way to make it so when the martians invade, the world stops what they are doing and unites to fight the martians. and when they do damage to martians units(idk how that would work) the "earth alliance" gets a chance to optain research speed reductions and ahead of time tech. also maybe a XCom focus or ways to get nuclear weapons to stall the martians advance. just shooting ideas XD.

There is already an XCOM event chain for the USA, and if the Martians are defeated the majors get a special tech boosting idea. I might add more along those lines as favor events in the final update, we will see.

As for the suggestion of an "instant" global war, I considered doing that, but the lag for most people would quickly get unbearable. Though the human race can unite into a single nation if they Martians stick to their fascist path, and finish taking out all the other majors. Sort of an endgame boss (as anoying as the Soviets) to defeat.

well you could make a small map with mars , earth . and there moons and have the invasion at begin than make it so earth can attack mars and there moons and reclaim the moon...you can ask the authors of palpatines gamble to help with that sins there making a full own space star wars mod...and for ships....be custom and creative! but a good point for the humans is add the edison ship from the WOTW "conquest of mars" commic
