News (upcoming 1.4 patch)
Just a quick update here (not actually a mod update, but news):
Im working on merging all my mods together (except testing ones) and MAYBE there will be a release before 1.4 patch but Ill do my best to update again after that. It will be released as a new mod on the workshop, primarily since I want to move away from this being focused on just the map when half the content is event-based. The older seperate mods WONT be updated though.

Also, i really want to get Germanys focus for puppeting Greece inline with the Yugoslav and Czech event chains.

Regarding the upcoming 1.4 patch, I will probably have to redo all of Africa but Ive been wanting to do so for North Africa anyway since its a bit of a mess. This will have a higher priority than any other map updates (which are very low at the moment), so Im probably safe promising that.

Right now though, the biggest work is merging the mods and updating the puppet manager aspects for the new countries ive added (unreleased mod). I want players to be able to AVOID the large number of events though, if they just want to annex everything or go historical.

I dont have a name yet..

Update: 2017.06.07

The mods have been successfully merged, and are soon ready for release but there are some minor things left to be done. I still need a name.

Changes from the older version:
- Some bug fixes.
- New nations, primarily ones that currently exist in reality (eg. Gambia, Kiribati and Dominica)
- Names for nations have been changed. The newer nations dont have special ones for each ideology yet, but theres more localisations for puppets under certain countries. Also, theres some events for the UK changing its name and flag (eg Kingdom of England, if it doesnt own Scotland nor Ireland). That last one still needs some work to function automatically.
- Some flag changes, like removing the Union Jack from neutral India (and moving it to RAJ_UK)
- Incorporation of my Puppet Manager mod and update for both easier usage and newer nations.
- Germany Focus: 2nd Ljubljana Award for the breakdown of Greece

To do (might release without these completed):
- More localisation needed..
- Shorten the UK line of puppet events. Theres so many nations..
- Add some French puppet nations that arent independent (as of 2016, eg New Caledonia or Guiana), and other potential nations (I know CSA will be requested)
- Remove Batam.. They might be Indonesian islands (represented under Singapore in HOI4), but it is just a hassle to have them existing as a separate state.
- Add Russia?
- Minor map state name changes
- Sorting of event files, so that Germany file isnt so difficult to navigate.
- Change flags of other UK puppets, maybe..
- Always bug fixes as I find them

I was thinking of adding Czech Republic (or not republic), but I noticed theres entries for "CZE_ONLY" as a cosmetic tag for CZE, so Ive decided its easier without changing everything to use that, as the upcoming expansion uses.

There is also a potential bug that cant be fixed but I actually kind of like. If UK releases India, then its 'British India', but then the UK might lose Scotland and be renamed just 'England', but India remains called 'British India', even if it were released after losing SCO, it would be 'English India'. The puppet names never change if the overlord has its cosmetic tag changed.

Also, regarding the UK name changes, it is mostly complete. Possible sitations:
- No cores of SCO nor IRE: Kingdom of England
- SCO but not IRE: Kingdom of Great Britain
- IRE but not SCO: United Kingdom
- Both IRE and SCO: United Kingdom (different flag)
Note that the difference between having all of Ireland and only Northern Ireland is in the name (not the flag), and I chose not to have a huge name across the small(ish) nation, so theyre effectively the same. The real name would be 'The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland', but thats just crazy for this situation.
The Welsh are not represented in any state flag of the UK, and only in some unlikely sitations are they represented in the name (eg United Kingdom of England, Wales and Northern Ireland?), so I chose not to bother with that.
Regarding _ADJ parts (eg Russian or Italian), they all either have British or English, based on whether Scotland is part of the nation. Theres no generic term for a country of both English AND Welsh or Irish nationality, but British works for English, Welsh and Scottish.
Im contemplating doing something for the British-French Union (English-French?) but it is already represented if one is a puppet of the other (Dominion of France!)

Another update here.

First off, I do have a name, but it wont be revealed until proper release (it is similar to this one to help migration).

Second, and perhaps more importantly, is that im pretty much ready to release it, though in a rough state. Theres still so much to be done before id consider it a stable build and some events will cause some little issues (mainly because of the added states), but probably no crashes.

I still need to redo North Africa, but the strategic regions are fixed up well enough and the impassable states are KIND OF there.. It still works gameplay wise, but isnt pretty.

Also, I did add the Virgin Islands (under US control.. if only there were more provinces there), and divided up the Aegean islands into east and west, since ingame the eastern two provinces are bordered with Turkey and can only be accessed by the Greek via ships. It also allows better peace deals when dividing that region between the two nations (or their overlords).

I also divided up Mauritania, Mali, Niger and Chad into their more populated regions and their Saharan regions to help with the impassable area. You still cant go from Rio de Oro (southern Spanish Morocco) to Senegal (French West Africa) along the west coast, as in HOI4 1.4. I had to divide those lest either theres no impassable area, or the whole releasable country is impassable (and therefore disarmed).

Anyway, its getting late tonight so Ill post tomorrow if all goes well! I should really test this...

It will be posted as a new Steam Workshop item!!! And ill write it everywhere so people know.

Edit: Well.. that is what I WAS going to post yesterday before my internet went down, so it will be uploaded later today!

THIS MOD IS NOW DISCONTINUED, rebranded and reuploaded as "Expanded Plus". It covers the same content (and more), but changes the focus of the mod as a whole.
