There is no research related to the buildings - you can find them in the Furniture Menu only if you have manually installed the b19 version (only if you use b19) from one of the maintainers at:

@spudsioux No - use the current r1.0 version here on Steam for the r1.0 version of Rimworld (I've updated my reply above to avoid confusion)
