The code disagrees:

it is a machine pistol *and* and armcannon *and* a Cute weapons *and* an energy weapon *and* a cosmic weapon.

the Veluu uses the same tag for armcannon

"itemTags" : ["weapon","ranged","upgradeableWeapon","armcannon","veluu"],

so, all seems to be in order, here.

Why am I not getting the arm cannon bonus from it then? (such as having bonus defense while dual wielding with a shield), is it prioritizing the machine pistol aspect and thus using the machine pistol bonus instead of the arm cannon bonus?
