I am having this problem too, as I perfer to do things legit and I don't want to cheat to get T10.

Odd , I had no problem getting the T10. However that is using my Avali addon for this mod. I would be very surprised if the vanilla ships had a problem.

We ARE talking about the vanilla.

nevermind... the upgrade ship command works properly.

To get a tier 10 upgrade, once you have tier 9, and you have completed the main campaign the special reward bag gives you a Ziz license. which is the tier 10 upgrade. You cannot legitimately get a tier 10 ship until you've completed the storyline.

This is EXACTLY why I couldn't, because I completed the storyline before I installed the mod.

What if I'm using Optional Story? I have to cheat it?

Ah, I am pleased to know that it is functioning as designed in 1.3. The concerns raised about story-locking it are valid, however, and I will state that I intend to rework the Ziz quest into a random encounter, as per a bit of development history where SAIL at one point stated that such knowledge is "hidden among the stars". No promises on when I'll actually get around to that, though.

For those of you who completed the game and want the tier 10 ship but can't get the reward bag
if you're willing to cheat a bit you can type /admin followed by /spawnitem license7 then return to pirate pete for the upgrade followed by the /admin command again

I really have no idea how to get tier 10. I finished the story and didn't get a Ziz license, and tried the above suggestion. Console commands can get me to tier 9 but no further.

Maybe it's because I'm using a Glitch ship, I don't know.

I might just delete my ship file and see what changes next time round.
