Same issue and already tried using the keyword, it just doesn't appear in the menu at all to activate it.

Yeah, doesn't appear in the mods menu under "Edit Settings" when you load a game

I too am having this issue with it not showing up in my mods list.

EDIT:
I found the blocks in my progression tab, I guess the mod doesn't actually need to be activated. I have no problem with this.

Do you need to discover something specific to gain access to this mod?

No you don't in creative and it still doesn't appear there.

I found a similar mod in the workshop, it hacks a ship instantly as long as the control blocks are neutralized I believe. It's too bad this author isn't willing to help us and fix his mod cause this would be more realistic.

Wait hold up you didn't need to activate it???

So what I did is to make sure "Experimental mode" is enabled under setting>Game options, and re-added the mod to my save, and it was suddenly there.

sorry, I always have experimental mode on, because that's what the game was supposed to have... support for mods, but no, keen moved mods to experimental mode

After subscribing this mod you have to go to the loading saved game tab... go to options and then to mods... move the mod from the left to the right side and load the game... VOILA... works!
