Anyone figure out how to recruit king gurgler? I know you need fish (i assume grand fish). The dialog when talking to him just continues to repeat. Is it just an astronomically small chance he accepts if you keep spamming him fish, or do i need to wait for a specific dialog before walking away or feeding him a thin fish?

Or is there something else i haven't tried like dried fish?
