I just experienced a bug where a Red Sabre I captured wasn't accepting any food I had; I first spoke to them when they asked for dried meat, forgot to put some in my inventory. So after the dialogue ended in failure, i grabbed dried meat and tried again. This time, for some reason, the first dialogue choice outright failed. Waited, and tried a third time: They said they'd take anything, but I got the "Sorry Chump" response as my only option. That happened for every attempt I made with this character. I then switched to a different person in my squad, had them pick up some dried meat, and spoke to the Red Sabre. This time, it gave me the correct option instead of just "Sorry Chump." When I chose it, the next dialogue box actually ***switched*** back to the *first* character I tried to recruit them with, as if they were the one talking the whole time. I was able to successfully recruit them however.

Figured I'd share because it's weird that it had another one of my squadmates jump in after they failed.

That sounds like a bug with recruiting over squad limit when your squad limit was changed by a mod after already being over the new limit. May need to move your 256 mod lower in your load order if you've recently added mods.

Also, not a typo. That's more of a real bug for the bugs thread, I think.

Is it not possible to recruit Narko's Disciple skeletons?

EDIT: figured it out, narkos is from another mod so that explains why I can't recruit them.

No matter how many times I ask, Hive Workers won't join my group even if they say they will. I have litterally been trying to recruit workers for a week straight IRL because im trying to set up some farms as a hiver only run. I'm not sure if they're glitched, but i uninstalled and reinstalled the mod. Anyone have any suggestions?

Whilst recruiting a High Paladin, here's the bit that needed some touching up.
At the end of the prisoner dialogue, on a successful recruitment, I have fully corrected the dialogue.

High Paladin: Hmm.. Perhaps overtime I can show you the true nature of darkness; in the meantime I could help you with your education, *under his breath* and when the time is right you will be purged.
Protagonist: Wait, what?! Well, it's a start, I guess.
