I recently instaled an ai perosna core in one of my colonists and was looking for a way to replace it with another part. I have an Ai chip and almost unlimited funding I just want to get rid of the ai persona core without killing the colonist.

I have attempted removing the part but it killed the colonist it seemed like a possible solution because he also has a thinking processor installed from the advanced mechanoid mod. the part adds 25+ conciousness so I thought they might not die.
