2.) Progression of an infection with all countries playable rather then removing a bunch
3.) New focuses for nations that directly deal with the infection and combating it
4.) Nazi Zombies (Nuff Said)
Definitely still working out the performance issues, but I can try to balance that out. WIll also look into focuses. The events sound dope af. Thanks for taking the time to write some ideas out!
Edit: Another way to increase performance and make them run better is to not have it start at war with everyone. At first it only declears wars on direct neighbours(Could this be done through scripted events? Or maybe a NF that the ai will grab after a certain amount of time), then as the threat increases more nations declear wars and it also adds world tension so that lets WT locked countries to do more (this could be for example, when the horde reaches istanbul an event pops up saying that its startingt to worry more people but the majors still squabble amongst themselves(thinking themselves above such a threat) That event could trigger the baltics joining the wars then past another point majors get into it. This will stop the sudden near crash lag you get as everyone joins wars and ♥♥♥♥. Itll also make it seem a much larger threat once its built up and it gives time for the zombies AI to sort its ♥♥♥♥ out before it faces real problems. Im not sure if this can be done by events or if it simply has to be locked behind NF. Im not a modder but i hope at least some of this is possible or this has helped you. Either way, great work! I look forward to seeing how this progresses
I definitely like this idea and will check it out. I am new to modding so right now there isn't much out there but I'll be searching! Do you think the lag is because of the amount of troops or the nations at war? Again I don't really know so I have been changing the troop numbers. But yeah, events have been request a lot so I will definitely try that first! Thanks for taking the time to respond!!!
The update should definitely fix that problem! As I am doing a test right now on the new version, the zombies seem to stop at nothing to conquer humans! Also, the zombies have enough industry to have a stockpile of weapons, it's just the AI that decides not to.. :/
Thanks for the suggestion and please keep them coming if you have more ideas!
I will be adding zombies to more places in the future. I just wanted to ge the update out as fast as possible so the lag wouldn't be extreme. I'm glad to hear the mod works for you now!
Oh sorry, I just read your other comment. I don't know what to say but I will do research in the morning. If I cant find anything I can always reply to this with a direct link to the mod so you can place it in the right folder. But I will try to find out why first. There isnt much out there still for HOI modding.
Also, is it just for my mod or for multiple. If multiple I would suggest you reinstall your game. Just remember to backup your saves
Thanks! Now that I think about it, The issue might be your OS? I developed this on Windows so IDK if it works on Mac or Linux
