Priority Assignment bug in 1.3
i'm going to do a full reload and make sure i have work tab closer to the bottom of the load order to make sure it's not something on my end that would be obvious.

when assigning a job task partially, ie a pawn and can feed and train animals but not tame, when you close work tab, it re-assigns all related tasks for that category to the highest value in it. only noticed it when my miner was trying to tame a muffalo -_-

if reload and checking load order corrects it, i will post again so people know to check that. if it doesn't ... well do anyone else have any ideas or would this be an unforeseen coding issue with the update.

so with a full reload of the game, moving work tab to second from bottom of load order ( above rocketman ) it's still impossible to assign different priority within a job task. i also went into in-game mod settings to tweak the number values to vanilla and see if that changes anything and it did not. i'm not familiar with the coding used for rimworld, and it's been so long since i've done any coding i'm not sure i could find any fix going that route

Can verify the "cannot have different sub-priorities with jobs" issue for 1.3. Even after using the favourites system to save the configuration, and saving the entire game immediately after configuring job priorities, both the favourite profile and the game save itself has the sub-priorities wiped.

it seems to be a problem with better pawn controll- many comments about this. even at BPCs page

thanks for the head's up @earthling96 -- i've read through a lot of the info on BPC and it appears that it's creator has no intention of re-writing the compatibility in 1.3 so they can work together as they did in 1.2. unless it's something that fluffy can write in / patch, i guess we will be limited to one or the other

I could have sworn this was working properly around Aug 9th, now back to priority not sticking.

for me it was a mod conflict. Unfortunately I forgot which mod it conflicted with, sorry...

I am having this issue as well, however I don't have the better pawn control installed. The only thing I have that would interfere with it is the Numbers mod, but I have already disabled it and it is still reassigning the sub priority to the top level number.

Doesn't seem like Fluffy particularly cares about this mod right now. He last responded and participated in these chats August 3.

It's a known problem with Better Pawn Control. In your mod settings for BPC, make sure to enable "Disbale BPC interaction with Work Tab..."

having the same issue no idea why but one of my animal specitalist got bugged and everything he does tame/train doesnt work so I tried removing those skills from him and it kept getting rested, i'll try disabling the bpc interaction
