Not sure about other bots, haven't gotten them in my recent runs.... But I have a Hauling Bot Mk I, and unless I manually de-activate it it won't recharge at the dock sitting in sleep mode. (As it goes there when it drops below 40%, and then sits there eternally at 39-37% if I don't manually deactivate it to charge)

I don't appear to have any mods that would make sense to interfere. A lot of VE, and one hauling behavior mod(Pick Up And Haul, makes pawns a bit smarter about hauling, doesnt seem to effect Miscrobots robots) but I removed that and the behavior persists.

Rather annoying. Not sure what's up.

EDIT: Found fix in comments, apperently resubbing to the mod fixes some outdated file or other. WEIRD. Bad steam mod manager, bad.
