Same problem with my server. When I shut down the server or do an update the Dino skills reset.

Idk if the Stats changed after restart.. but i need more time to find the problem and fix it.. or Ark need to fix it, when is not my bug

It's something hardcoded into the game at the moment. You can only level dinos 256 times pre-tamed and 256 times post-tame in any one level. Anything over this will reset down next time you load the game (SP) or restart the server (on unofficial).

To further explain, if post-tame your dino has 257 levels in something, it'll reset to level 1. If you have 513, same thing - level 1. If you have 260 or 516 levels, it becomes level 4, and so on.

As far as I can tell there are no mods that can change this property (or at least no mods have come out yet, no idea if there's an ability to change this).

I would love to able to remove this...

That bug remains...its to do with the games code. This mod simply pushes it to the games hard limit. :(
