SPARK Engineering (The Suggestions Thread)

Since there are so many possible robots and mech(a)s that people could want as parts for their SPARK units, I've created this thread so that people can suggest new parts to go alongside ones that I have planned, be it torsos, arms, legs, or heads.

I might not get to all of them, but I would like to. However, the more complex the suggestion, the longer it will likely take, though I will attempt them.

Completely a shot in the dark here, and *definitely* super hard to rig up, but would any of these be an enticing path? (Google images links). Just asking for the 0.1% possibility the MEC's end up looking a bit beefcakeier.

All three of those are fairly enticing, actually.

I actually have an untested theory on how to handle 'hard' rigs (single joint legs, mainly), so I'll probably have a shot at the dreadnought first to test it. Plus I have an overwhelming need to turn my units into something similar in size to a sectopod.

Awesome, well I wish you good luck. I can't help much unless you have a use for 2d painted textures, but proper WH 40k assets are probably already available online somewhere.

I wonder if you could even start the torso by ripping the Sectopods body, lol. Kinda the same size as the Dreadnoughts torso 8)

How about some mobile suit heads? GM, Zaku and EZ-8 would probably all go pretty well with the SPARK body IMO.

Cylon Centurion heads would be great, and I think the BSG 2004 version of the old Centurion[media.battlestarwiki.org] could provide some other parts, like arms and a torso.

I agree with this, especially a Zaku II-Head would be cool.

I have two requests, one rather unorthodox:
One, something, anything, based on the Brotherhood of NOD.
Reason should be obvious looking at my avatar, really...
Two, Warforged. Basically, magic robots. This would be difficult, but if you could do this it'd be EPIC.

... Gigadrill would make a good heavy weapon for their drones... melee attack, armor shredding, high damage VS mechanized targets...
