This shouldn't happen. Must be this LCD is tagged with both L_PANEL and TIM at the same time.

Reason is this script refreshes all characters on the text panel and uses 0.1 sized characters to simulate pixels (the only way to draw anything at the moment). There is no way to allow drawing and writing text at the same time due to this limitation

Does using Monospace font mean it has changed the ability to display this and text simultaneously?

I have TIm and Floor plan working togeather with out this issue. You might have to delet the LCD and add it again.
