Map Crash near cave

We can no longer play map on private server, all our tribe members are crashing now because each of us went too try and help the other and when you face this cave near the red obby but below it you end up crashing game after that your body is in a loop , you get some error 12 and can never get back on. I tried updates and all kinds of things, nothing works...

I can confirm. I've had 3 players do this now. Seems only since the last map update. Trying to figure out a way to recover them so they can play again.

Just happened to me too. Apparently you'll need someone to pull you out of the area before you can log back into the server. Failing that, maybe have an admin teleport you body somewhere safe :)

I don't believe that teleporting admins is possible. What I did was wait until the server recorded the player logging in, then I issued an admin kill command on him. He respawned at his bed and all is OK. Fortunately he had nothing valuable on him.

I have recorded this bug on the bug-tracking spreadsheet.

Same problem here, I have been playing single player and I crash everytime I go near that cave entrance (right below the red ob, on a cliffside). Gadly on singleplayer that means you roll back to last saved position, so you don't get stuck.

Same problem for me, sadly I have all my best gear on the character and my inventory is full of kibble, and I'm on my best Argy because I was searching for 150's to tame.

Avoid the cave at the base of the cliff at Red Obelisk, or risk crashing your client and making your game unplayable.

Bad news for those stuck by the cave crash.

The map maker just posted on twitter that "Will be fixed with the m ap update next week".

You can just get teleported out by an admin. I've personally teleported a player out of the cave a few times. Just wait for them to login in and you see the "blah bl;ah blah has joined the ARK" message, then go into your admin manager with "showmyadminmanager" command and tele them to you. Works like a charm.
