@«FЯIGID» Zunkey
Well, that's the default behavior of MyGasGenerator class, it PULLS Ice. I'm researching now how to make it PUSH.
Rather sure the reason why it pulls (hoards) ice is because the game thinks its an oxygen generator, found this "feature" earlier and setting use conveyor to off stopped it from pulling ice from other inventories (cargo containers etc) (note that i was using Automated Inventory Sorting mod/script so might not work without it) atleast this should serve as a temporary solution
(on a side note i realise i should probably have posted my air vent problem in this thread just didnt notice it until now) am curious as to what the problem was btw
Fixed conveyor issue by switching to refinery definition. Because Refineries don't use the PowerConsuptionMultiplier, the power consumptions in now always 220kW, which is ok. Good news - new definition allows me to add upgrade module compatibility - script logic is already using upgrade variables for Effectiveness and Productivity, I only have to alter the model and add dummies, so stay tuned.
**WARNING!**
Script for MyObjectBuilder_Refinery is using the obsolete MyEntityComponentDescriptor overload!
You must use the 3 parameter overload to properly register script updates!
This script will most likely not work as intended!

Still popping up 1/16/18.
