KF1 only used 1 whole model which was read via a text file.
KF2 uses mutiple models for characters which include swabable body parts and accessories.

Having something like hats being cliet-side isnt really duable unless its actually part of the character model.

And there was no actual clientside weapon mods in KF1, but at lease TW has allowed that in KF2.

Why should it be in the game? It's isn't compatible with KF2. Smells like Dark Souls stuff. Ghost mask variant is pretty suitable, but other dark fantazy bu1lshit i dunno.

Look at team fortress 2, the cosmetic system is basically the same, yet there's plenty of mods out there
