The year is 1916 and things have been going fairly historical (with the exception of Portugal murdering the Ottomans in the space of a week).

France, Italy, and the Austro-Hungarians have very, very low strength units, to the point that I am pretty sure I could roll over France and Italy now without too much effort. It seems to be a lack of infantry equipment, as leasing rifles to Austria-Hungary alleviated their issues.

I understand the AI in general tends to underestimate the infantry equipment it needs, but I wonder if maybe there is something the authors could do to reduce the likelihood of this happening, as the strong defensive nature of the conflict might be exacerbating the issue.
