Bugs Reports 0.17.x "Railways"
Hello Guys!

A quick reminder regarding crashes and people playing in Ironman. We've modified way too many files for this Mod to ever be Ironman Friendly.

Before reporting a bug, make sure that you are not playing Hearts of Iron IV: The Great War with additional Mods that could cause problems.

>>> FIX THE LAUNCHER {TUTORIAL} <<<

If the Great War Mod is falsely indicated as compatible with 1.8 and not new version of the game in the Launcher or if you have any other problems, follow these steps:
  • Close the HOI IV Launcher
  • Unsubscribe the Mod
  • Go to "\steamapps\workshop\content\394360" and delete the folder "699709023"
  • Go to "\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron IV\mod" and delete "ugc_699709023.mod"
  • In Steam Settings, go to "Downloads" and select "CLEAR DOWNLOAD CACHE"
  • Subscribe again to the Mod, ENJOY!!! :guardian:

Hello! As far as I know researching experimental tanks will not open other tanks for research. I like your mod.

Played as German and it seems like there is a bug with trucks, where I produced early motorized and it doesn't count towards trucks in the supply system so it constantly gives me 0% logistics on the top. Tried cheating and used the 1936 truck and it doesn't seem to work either.

no railroads and supply hubs on the map, no trains research tree, transport planes are available from the start

Supply trucks don't seem to work. I have 800+ in stockpile but it doesnt draw from that stockpile when I try to change motorization level

much the same for me. Trucks in my stockpile seem unable to be used for supply purposes. No major factions have tanks that are able to be researched. A couple general portraits I've fought against have displayed very small in the battle view screen but that's cosmetic. Supply trucks and tanks seem to be the most common and game-altering right now.

Hi, i wanted to play as the German Empire but i can't research the Kraftwagen. The Button is Brown, so technically, it should work but if i click on it, nothing happens.

All but one of Sweden,s generals portraits are bugged. They appear but are extremely small in the top left corner.
EDIT: Made a pull request in github that fixes this.

Can't build railroads playing as USA. When I start building them, they disappear from the construction queue the next day.

Germany doesn't build new divisions at all. The AI has also deleted all its templates, pretty weird except one tiny cavalry one.

Also i've noticed you can't use the trucks from the first truck technology in the new supply system ( motorize command in supply centers ). Don't know if intended.

It seem like the Officer Corps is also bugged/ not there (as in the Officer Roles you can Assignt to an Army Leader)

Same by me. Germany delete all division templates and dont train troops.
Hope it will be fixed soon.

Edit:

I try a savegame and switched through some countries. All of them delete most of their templates and most of them dont train troops - e.g. belgium & great britain
