Long night of knives?
Does anyone know if it is possible to avoid fascism in Germany? I look at the focus tree and only way for me to get new focus tree is to become the third reich in the long night of knives.

Can this not be avoided or is my future set in stone regardless how I play?

If you win the war then you get a short holy roman empire path instead. I think it only gives claims rather than CBs though so make sure you keep world tension high enough.
