Radar on ships
Hi, first of all I want to say that I absolutely love this mod - it's my favourite way to play HoI4.

Question, as the British, even with full radar and navy tech-trees I can't mount any radar in the radar slot of any of my ships. Is this intentional? The game continues post-ww1 period so it would be great to get a competitive advantage through research over enemy navies.

Was this ever answered in any way? I can't understand why they've gone to all the effort on this great mod and yet leave out major features like naval components and upgrades and such. It is bizarre

I ended up modding the mod (!) and it's not included in the relevant tech files. I think it's because it also adds better fire control systems and that have the potential to completely unbalance the game. I believe it may be intentional.

Without going deep in game files I have't touched in a while I think you have to manually edit the engineering technology file (mod folder/common/technologies/electronic_mechanical........ ) and then add to the relevant radar technologies lines to enable equipment modules.

eg for advanced centimetric:

enable_equipment_modules = {
ship_radar_4
}

enable_equipment_modules = {
ship_fire_control_system_3
}

You can find these by looking in the base game technology file of the same name. Good luck!
