Bugs Reports 0.10 ~ 0.10.1 ~ 0.10.2 ~ 0.10.3
Hello Guys!

A quick reminder regarding crashes and people playing in Ironman. We've modified way too many files for this Mod to ever be Ironman Friendly.

Before reporting a bug, make sure that you are not playing Hearts of Iron IV: The Great War with additional Mods that could cause problems.

>>> FIX THE LAUNCHER {TUTORIAL} <<<

If the Great War Mod is falsely indicated as compatible with 1.8 and not 1.9.2 in the Launcher or if you have any other problems, follow these steps:
  • Close the HOI IV Launcher
  • Unsubscribe the Mod
  • Go to "\steamapps\workshop\content\394360" and delete the folder "699709023"
  • Go to "\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron IV\mod" and delete "ugc_699709023.mod"
  • In Steam Settings, go to "Downloads" and select "CLEAR DOWNLOAD CACHE"
  • Subscribe again to the Mod, ENJOY!!! :guardian:

There are no info texts for the research, events and focus. There stands always such things as "ww1.england.100.a" or "AUH_ww1_rom" or "HOI4TGW_Opinion_ger_ita_advisor_bonus"

For most things I can guess what they mean and luckily it always says e.g. Romania +15 in German (my language)

The game Keep crashing when i start.
I play in french with the improved translation mod (I deleted et redowloaded both).
I choose France, 1910. The game crashes when i press start.

Edit : seems without the mod "- The Great War - Traduction française améliorée" the game won't crash. That is the only thing i have changed since the last crash.

Could you fix one of the focuses for the soviets. The focus is for having a ceasefire with Poland, It say's that to offer peace to Poland (when you are playing as Soviet Russia) you must be at war with Soviet Russia. I played as Poland and made it to 1922 and had to use console commands to get peace. Please can you fix it.

I am playing as Austria-Hungary and it's December 1911, with Historical Focuses.
The Quing Dynasty just won the Chinese Civil War and yet the news-popup said that Quing lost and China is now a republic, even though the country is still called Quing Dynasty and is "ruled" by the Xuantaong Emperor.
Mongolia and Tibet are independent and Tannu Uriankhai was freed from China and turned into a Russian puppet.

Not sure if that's supposed to be an actual possibility or it bugged out. Either way the news-popup was wrong.

I have some missing portraits when I play the mod, notably Kaiser Wilhelm and Tsar Nicholas. This is both from the version downloaded through Steam and from the manually downloaded version. I have done a full Hearts of Iron reinstall (though not because of this) and the issue persists. Has anyone had this before?

Running on latest builds of everything.

Playing German Empire. Started in 1910.

STATE_763 and STATE_753 have no names

Unable to attach Tactical Bombers to Armies (can attach Fighters)

Soviet Russia never went to war with Russian Empire (civil war) after I won WWI. It simply split the country into sections

Bit of a problem, I have the mod active, but when I load the game, it is still just normal hoi4, with the same scenarios, Gathering storm and the 1939 one, and all the same countries. I like to call myself competent when it comes to this kind of stuff, but I have no idea what is happening.

Did you try to unsintall (unsubscribe, start, quit, resubscribe)? The mod was marked not compatible when i tried to use it for the first time after the update.

In my game in which I won the Great War as Austria-Hungary, Hungary and Croatia never existed.
And yet half the world is at a never-ending war with them, preventing many focuses that require the country in question to be at peace from being started.^
I also tried to use the whitepeace console command and not even that would work, giving the erorr message "Failed to white peace with any of the specified countries."
The only way I was finally able to resolve the issue was by giving Hungary a provice via console command, so that one of their enemies could finally defeat them.

What version of the game is the mod compatable for, i'm using one 1.8.1 because when I had the game in 1.9, the game said it was uncompatible

Hi I wanted to report a bug. My game can't start with the mod if you could fix that would be great. Istarted in 1.8.0 and 1.8.2 with nod la resistance dlc and it chrased several times.

The Open Beta 0.10 has been made for Hearts of iron IV 1.9 "Husky", if you want to play with an older version, you can download older versions of the Mod on Mod DB or NexusMods[www.nexusmods.com]

I have the same problem as Rick astley(fake) but i do have the 1.9 version of the game

When I play a game in 1910, when I get to June 30, 1910 the game freezes and I can't leave it or just leave the game, and it starts again even after I restart my computer (only way to be able to play HOI4 again when the bug occurs).
it's a softlock because I can still right-click to see the countries but I can't see anything about them (I can't read the description of the national spirits for example) nor increase the speed of time, and when I click to make it start time again it doesn't matter (hence the softlock)

Quand je fait une partie en 1910, quand j'arrive au 30 Juin 1910 le jeu se bloque et je ne peux ni le quitter ni le juste quitter la partie, et ça recommence même après avoir redémarrer mon pc (seul moyen de pouvoir rejouer a HOI4 quand le bug se produit)
c'est un softlock car je peux encore faire un click droit pour voir les pays mais je ne peux rien voir sur eux (je ne peux pas lire la description des esprits nationaux par exemple) ni augmenter la vitesse du temps, et quand je click pour que ça relance le temps ça ne fait rien (d'où le softlock)
