Vanilla Magazines stopped working [BUG or Feature?]
The previously working alternative vanilla magazines in correct caliber stopped working in this version. While it is true that not all magazines are interchangable in real live, I think it kind of odd that not even the mags from the same gun aren't working. For example the 5.56 mags from the HK416 of the APEX DLC should work with the SMA HK416, right?

Is this a bug or a feature? ^^

Vanilla ammo is an optional feature that doesn't really work with Steam. It has to be either included in the mod or not at all in this case. I could include it, but it would require everyone to have all the different ammo types available.

Hm~, okay this sounds interesting. So there are differences between SMA in the Steam workshop and the direct download or how can I understand that? o o
And if so, what issues did you encounter?
(Sorry about the questions. I just recently tried to make my own mod for our small community that includes special ammo boxes and only got into modding myself for a bit. I'm kinda curious.)

Either way, I was just wandering about it, because we updated SMA 2.4 to 2.7.1 about about two weeks ago and due to that vanilla magazines stopped working. So I was wondering if that's on purous or if there's something that went wrong. ^^

The only difference is the optional vanilla ammo. It's a folder within the mod that is labeled "Optional". If I took what was in that folder and put them in the addons folder, everyone would have vanilla ammo along with the SMA ammo on Steam. In 2.4, I believe I had included the optional vanilla ammo.

Ah, so that's how that worked and how it happened.
Well it'd be nice to have the optional ammo back if it isn't causing any unnescessary dependencies for other user that don't own all the official DLCs. ^^

So just curious if I put the optional files for vanilla ammo into the addons folder on a dedi server will my clients then be able to use the vanilla ammo on the server or they have to also move the file into the addons folder too?
