Actually, the preference traits are there. They can be triggered randomly when your population auto-adapts. Not sure if you can do it with genetics though...
Either way, I'll have a look at how I can add the traits in the race creation screen.
I'll try it out as a mod to this mod first.
It currently has a graphical bug where the cities and the environment don't show up. I have been trying to fiddle around to see if I can make it work... I've asked for help in the paradox forums[forum.paradoxplaza.com]
CU might need updating too.
I'd like to talk to you about this mod in PM however. Mind accepting my friend request? :P
It will still happen with Strange Homeworlds as you can start with a Gas Giant. I don't think I can restrict that to happen only with some species portraits (ideally the floating fungus or the floating molluscs).
