For what it does I think it is too cheap actually, go tame yourself a tea-rex or other apex predator. A great premise and good attempt at makeing it hard to craft. How about adding 3 leach blood or something to the recipie too?

Blood of leech does not stop because it is not every map that will have
Better would be for 2 other more complex recipes like Mindwipe Tonic, Broth of Enlightenment
Another pile of all vegetables and egg and fertilizer
There all the maps would have and still give utility post items we never used
