I have an Map Extension for this (yes the other is outdated) but there is a cooking problem that need to be fixed befor i can release it

No matter what I do with ""ConfigOverrideSupplyCrateItems", it won't work?

Correct.
Currently nothing you do via .ini or mod will change the supply drops, loot or appearance.

If it's a matter of them being a custom and using the default "SupplyCrate_Level03_C" doesn't work, would something like "SupplyCrate_70_D_C" work? Since "SupplyCrate_70_D.uasset" appears to be what these crates are, or atleast my assumption.
Although to find that information was a task for the typical user. :P And quite a guessing game. HAHA!

I LOVE that the crates are Dodos, and I don't want that part to change at all, but I do want to be able to adjust the contents that are given inside.

Yeah, so I cheated a little and I think I've learned that these "SupplyCrate_03_D" are infact the crate contents themselves. I can see what you've written in them to drop ;P
So mayhaps I'll have to do some testing with that and see if I cannot manage to make that work. Worse case scenerio it doesn't do anything, or it does and I have to fall on a backup. XD

Although some kind of confirmation would be nice to know that I'm not just cold guessing here. Haha!

Exilog. you are awesome and your map is phenomenal. I am in awe every place i go. haven't explored many of the caves but well done. The best map ive ever seen.

But that'd change them from the dodo, wouldn't it? :(

@Exilog would it be possible to change it back to "normal" in terms of drops, but not appearance? I like the look of the Dodo's but would like to change what is in them. Either .ini as you're going to test, or from a map extension. (whenever you are able to cook it)

This will be a first test i will try to find out how to use the Dodos and change what is inside if this is possible

This new ini option, does that effect the whole drop. Like, no longer dodos? HAHA!
But I assume this should allow us to edit the drop contents, right?
