Cannot load this map in Single Player with no mods - get a Fatal Error
I have already checked my graphics card and its up to date, validated all Ark files - even deleted and reinstall the map.

Any ideas?

hmm... for me this looks like a mod missmatch. But this should be impossible on Singleplayer.
You use a Windows System ?

have you tryed another Custom map ?
Sorry for the questions but its hard to find a bug that i dont have myself.

Understood, and in single player I can run any other map just fine. Not sure what the issue is, thus my posting here :)
I do appreciate you looking into this - I may end up seeing if I can load from a server and get the same issues.

Tried un-installing the game? Then run a registry cleaner, reboot and re-install game. I know it takes time but could be a corrupt file.

@ Chief - If its a corrupt file, then its specific for this map as all others load fine. I will try a total wipe my local mods folder first before I do something that time consuming :)

It's likely your save file is corrupt. Go to wherever you saved ARK, then go to SavedArksLocal
"Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\SavedArksLocal"

Delete you ShigoIslands.ark and probably any other file that has shigoislands in the title.
(Always back up your saves incase this sort of thing happens.)

This happened to me once on Shigo, but also on the center.
Hopefully that allows you to use the map.
