Suggestions - No longer doing requests
Hey sorry for the long absence, things occurred in meatspace and I haven't been on since June. Unfortunately I don't have the time to do any more request packs. Sorry to you all that made requests, I didn't mean to waste your time.

Here you can post suggestions for new voice packs or general improvements.

Regarding Requests

Ideally I want to work with game audio since it's already recorded with this sort of thing in mind.

Those quotes videos on youtube with all of a character's lines are great for this.

TV shows/movies I want to avoid. For my Aqua Teen Hunger Force packs I had to watch the entire 11 seasons to get enough dialog for 1 pack each. That was a pain. I want to avoid time-consuming stuff like that. If it sounds fun I'll do it but chances are I'm not going to.

Audio needed for a barebones voice pack:

Let's try and make sure any proposed pack has these things listed below.

1. Order confirmation lines - "Yes sir." "Roger that." "Order confirmed." "Yeah."

At the very least a large selection of order confirmation audio is needed. These are vital. Basic order confirmations can also help flesh out some of the more niche cues that never have enough lines like some of the Psi Abilities or Hacking. A large selection is needed to avoid repetition. So please try to make sure your request has at least 15+ such lines. I don't know how many times I've started working on a pack only to find out it's lacking enough order confirmations and had to drop it.

1a. Combat order confirmation - "Roger, target acquired!" "He's in my sights." etc

These are useful for fleshing out the many combat abilities. If I have only one or two lines that reference a rocket launcher I will bundle them with a bunch of these sorts of lines to help avoid hearing those same two lines every time you fire a rocket.

2. Target missed lines - "Dammit!" "Keep firing!" "Fiddlesticks, I missed!" etc

I was planning on doing a Griggs (Call of Duty Modern Warfare) voice pack but he only had one of these lines. No good. Cursing or angry exclamations can also be used for taking casualties and being wounded.

3. Enemy missed lines - "That was close!" "Is my hair on fire?" etc

These are also important, and a large selection of them is needed.

4. Target killed lines - "Target neutralized." "Yay!" etc

Who wants a voice pack where your soldier seems to stare blankly at the enemy he just wasted?

5. Moving lines - "On the move." "Moving out." "I'll be there in a second." etc

While these can be replaced by generic order confirmation lines, it's good to have at least a few of them to help avoid repetition.

Gaz's lines are part of the Ghost pack since someone pointed out they have the same voice actor. I added them last week I think.

Alex Mason and Woods are on my list but I can't really give an ETA. I'm currently working on Reznov and Hudson.

Could you do the male British Boss voice option from Saints Row 3+4? The man who made the Saints Row 3 Boss Voice mod only did it for the Troy Baker voice option, and is now upset at the requests for the other voices and has declined to add the other boss voices. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7AK68c72Cs

Sure, that seems like a pretty comprehensive video (part 1 and 2). I'll add it to the list. Can't say when it'll be done though since it'll take longer to organize the lines.

I'll try but they probably will need more lines. Truck only has about 400 lines and Grinch 800 and typically only 1/3 of them are usable. I was working on a Griggs pack (800 lines) from MW1 until I realized he only had one good "target missed" line. So fingers crossed I guess.

I don't know about CnC3, I don't own it. And even then I doubt they have more than a hundred lines a piece. If you can find a youtube video with their lines like the one above for Saints Row I'll check it out.

Characters from the Adult Swim show, Venture Bros would be amazing. Easy start would be Henchman 21. Additional characters could include Broc Samson, the Mighty Monarch, and Dr. Girlfriend for starters.

Id love to see the Peace keeper, Imperial warrior, Conscript, from Red Alert 3. (Maybe as an 3 trooper pack?) And or possibly Red Alert 2 Tanya aswell? she has more quotes then the generic infantry.

I know its not alot of lines but id still love to these in the game even if it means leaving some lines blank. (long time C&C fan lol)

Maybe when the game comes out and if there's a way to get his lines, Oscar Mike from Battleborn? His voice in XCOM would be amazing.

I'm sorry guys but I don't think I can do much with the Command and Conquer/Red Alert units. Those NOD units only had like a minute of dialog a piece. There just aren't enough lines to work with. And the Red Alert videos have music playing.

@Olly I think someone else is already working on Venture Bros voice packs. There's already a Brock Samson pack on the Workshop.

@Elite0087 I've never heard of Battleborn but if there's enough lines and they're available like that Saints Row clip above then I'll make all the characters no problem.

@Wonderwaffle33 Robocop probably doesn't have enough lines in all three movies for a voice pack but I'll watch them again to see.

@Walker It's an upcoming shooter by Gearbox (Guys who made Borderlands) and the character Oscar Mike pretty much sums up every Call of Duty player. In the beta, he had lines for both stealth and combat, so i'm hoping once the game comes out and a full list of his quotes is made, it might be usable for a pack.
