Missing AKS-74U Muzzleflash
As the title implies, the AKS-74U seems to have a missing particles when firing.

C_OP_RenderSprites::RenderUnsorted: Attempting to use an unimplemented sprite renderer for system "muzzleflash_mp40_1p_core"!

Missing particles like Red Xs or Pink Checkerboards?
And AKS only and no other weapons have this problem?

No indication of missing content - the muzzleflash particles don't appear at all, no red X missing particles, no missing textures.

Every weapon except the AKS-74U displays the appropriate muzzleflash 100% of the time. The AKS-74U is the only one to print the missing particle error when firing.

Even particles on MP40 show up? Got any community-made extensions of this addon?

I realized that the MP40 was from DOI; I only own INS2. Does the AKS-74U use the DOI muzzleflashes in INS2?

Unlikely, AFAIR, particle systems with _core in name only exist in INS2 pcf. And both INS2 and DOI sets have MP40. Just clean up your subscriptions.

Clean install of Garry's Mod and the missing muzzleflash prevails. I found a copy of DOI and mounted it and the issue resolved itself, so it seems that it's caused by the lack of DOI.

It also seems that the INS2 weapons in this pack don't include an MP40, so that might be worth noting.

You are not using this pack if INS2 section does not contain MP40.

EDIT: just loaded up GMOD without DOI, MP40 muzzleflash shows up as supposed to on all weapons that use it - MP40, AKS, Sterling, Sten, MAT39.
