Hi,

I posted this at the mod comments and decided to post this to here too if some people won't read the comments:

1.) First subscribe to "Mod Everything" http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=622863565

2.) Second subscribe to "Mod Config Menu" http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=667104300

3.) Third subscribe to "Grimy's Loot Mod" http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=650277509&searchtext=loot

4.) Enable developer console by adding "-allowconsole -log -autodebug" to your XCOM 2 launch options under steam library without quotation marks.

5.) Start XCOM 2 and load your game.

6.) Go to your reasearch section in your base and open console with tilde-key (Tilde is the key left to number 1 in your keyboard)

7.) Enter command "GrimyLootUpdateResearch" in console without quotation marks. (You won't yet see the the research after entering the command.)

8.) Shutdown XCOM 2 completely.

9.) In your operating system for example in WIN X got to "C:\Users\'your user name'\Documents\my games\XCOM2\XComGame\" and delete or move "Config"-folder away from there to some backup folder. ( I personally created "BCKUP CFG FLDR"-folder under "XComGame"-folder where i stored the original "Config"-folder. )

10.) Restart XCOM 2-launcher from steam.


DO NOT USE any shortcut that bypasses the XCOM 2-launcher!!!
I got buch of "Red Screens" with my own shortcut!!!


11.) Load your game and check the research.

12.) If everything went right you should see research to open your lock boxes.

13.) If you are still not seeing them... Umm than... Maybe remove all mods except mods required to run Grimmys Loot, try veryfing integrity of game cache or reinstall the whole game.

14.) Than retry from part 1 of my instructions to see if the issues have been solved.

15.) Enjoy.
