Play the World War 2 campaign and use the editor with the CTW version
On MODDB is uploaded the official versions of the CTW 1.7d release:

It allows you to use the editor with mod features (units, buildings, etc.) and play campaigns.

Azangara's "Flora and Fauna" terrain mod and Legend's "WW2 Campaign" are included.

````WARNING````

These files replace the original game core files, make a backup copy of the whole "..\Rise of Nations" folder or use the "backup" from "Steam" scroll down menu before to start the installer.

After the installation you'll play RON EE just with mod features and they are not compatible with other mods.

It's strongly recommended to unsubscribe all mods from RON workshop menu.




To play the campaign:

click on Conquest The World Campaigns and in next screen open the scroll down menu "Custom Map" on the top left.

You'll find "World War 2", select it and click on "New Campaign".

The "continue" option doesn't work with it, you should save your game and use the "Load Saved Game" option in "Solo Game".

will it ever be in the steam workshop? the ability to play entire world campaign with the 1939-1945 mod

What I know is impossible to play a CTW campaign with the mod features, the lonly way is to replace the original game core files with the mod files and this can't be done in steam workshop,

I started playing the CTW version and noticed the following issues:

1) Even though the territorial strength is 3 or above, it's giving the warning of it being too weak and reducing the strength by 1 in only some areas.
2) The islands that were created in the patch (not in original game) cannot really battle because you will get a town floating in the middle of an ocean

Also whenever you invade an area and a skirmish mission happens, both sides are for some reason immediatly defeated, causing you to lose over and over, unable to attack anywhere.

1. Buy treachery cards
2. Purchase territory next to Louisiana
3. Use treachery card on Louisiana
4. Make peace with US and sell back Louisiana
Repeat steps 1-3 to get as much tribute as you want
