(You will need to watch out for the new golden meat icon, not the default ark feeding trough icon.)
From past patch notes detailing how it works:

- Added new structure: Bulk Feeding Trough!
Will auto feed hungry pets that have no eatable food left and keep them above 97% food.
Also feeds babies automatically for you, but you need to imprint them first.
Default range is 5 times bigger than the normal troughs. Server adjustable.

- Bulk Feeding Trough will not try to feed lil' companions from my Pet Companion mod.
- Bulk Feeding Trough will now only display the overhead food icon for Pets it just fed, OR if a player is viewing its inventory, OR if it is following someone.
Will never display icon for pets being ridden or carried.

- Feeding trough adjusted to feed pets at less than 85% food and to feed half lesser foods each interval.

- Feeding trough lowered emissive color, emissive only shows if trough activated.
- Feeding trough feeds at 89% hunger, raised from 85%.
- Feeding trough now must be toggle activated to feed at long range.
- Meat icon should show for pets on follow and an activated trough now.

This is not regarding the range of the trough, but it is not letting me put the vegetables such as rockarrot, savoroot, and longrass in the trough. Not sure if it is an issue on my end or working as intended, but I didnt see anything else about it, so thought I would ask.

Egg N Poop Collector N Incubator works just fine and collect, also Death Helper and Pet Finder works without any issues.
If I stand by an dino, wich needs feeding at a distance about may 15000 nothing happens. the egg I dropped right by this place a little more far away just get collected. There is no symbol over it´s name. If I go near the bulk trough it feeds and only the standard symbol is over it´s name. the trough is active and makes this - well - "cold fog" over it.
My "Jurassic Park" is about 55000 in range, really need the long range function of the Bulk Trough.
Any sugestion, how I can make the range of the trough working?

Its actually working, u just wont see it until your dinos get hungry

it was an user failure by me. i tested it with about 95% filled hunger, and it eats at the feeding trough and bulk trough with this but to feed it in range it need to be 89% or less.

oh...I placed like three of these troughs because I wasn't seeing the normal icon over a dino's head. basically if the egg collector can reach a dino at my far walls, a bulk trough should as well even if it doesn't show the normal ark trough icon?

Would still be great to have any form of indication that something is in range.
Like the basic icon,.. or at least a way to show range like s+ does for example. Guessing if a dino is in range is not fun ;-)
