bug with spotters?
almost every time ive had a spotter, something buggy happens- the first time i had a spotter bring down reinforcements, with the reinforcements incoming, every time i ended my turn i would get a Gisrunning == 1 crash. i found no fix, so i started again. then however, i had another bug with spotters, i assume; they worked perfectly this time, but when i try to finish the mission, the scene in the sky ranger has an unusually long loading time, and when i press any key, the game hangs at the screen with the black and the only visible thing is a lantern or something on some crates or something illuminating the ground. is there a crash report or something? log? im using a couple of mods, so is there any file with a list of mods enabled on it i can post here?

I don't really see how the second one has anything to do with the spotter. The first one might, but you'd be the first one to get that bug. Spotters were kinda rough when i first put them in, but the bugs with invalid spawns should all be gone by now.

There are some logs in \Documents\My Games\XCOM2\XComGame\Logs, maybe they help?
The best way to get a mod list would be by using the Alternative Launcher, available here: https://www.reddit.com/r/xcom2mods/comments/4ak5cv/alternative_mod_launcher/
The alternative launcher also checks for some incompatibilities, which may provide some help in finding your problem.

yeah, funnily enough i found out about alternative launcher .

I don't really see anything glaring.

Also, i don't believe that the Spotters themselves cause any troubles. They are completely self-contained in Better Advent and other mods don't change anything about them.

Whatever conflict of mods (or other problem) lead to your crash, i can't really tell. All i can do is point you towards the usual ways of dealing with any XCOM modding troubles, especially towards clearing out your ini files as described here: http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/628891110/364041776188331284/

Sorry if that isn't as helpful as you probably hoped for.

i tried clearing out the inis, and removing a mod cuasing conflicts but it still aint fixed :(
