I'd love it if we could just have a new prop entry that allowed us to change our weapon looks from Conventional, to Magnetic, to Plasma, to Advent. New weapons are OK I guess, but I avoid them because weapon upgrade drops are so rare for me. I'd rather just stick with the vanilla weapons so that upgrading allows me to keep my weapon upgrades instead of losing them all on a pretty mod weapon.

The thing is, there is a legit lore reason they don't pick up the weapons off the ground. Tygan mentions they have a biological scanner that neutralizes targets not matching ADVENTS genetics.
