Lets answer this once and for all(saving)
Is there a way for you to actually be able to save your game and load it exactly where you were at/what you were doing? this has been something ive been so confused on for years now. If somebody could answer me this with step by step instructions lol

There is no "save game" like in single player - far too much data for that. ALiVE can store various data points though. Best approach is to use "local persistence." Details here:
