soldiers not centered
so my 4th soldier is right on the corner of the screen is there an option to center it or is thsi bug or intended?

Found a way to fix it
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\619895689\Config open the file "XComMoreSquadSizeUpgrades" and in the line that says "+TryToFitEveryoneOnSquadSelectScreen" change to false.

I have enabled squad size III; although I can select all 7 soldiers and their a equipment, only 6 soldiers are shown above and their position doesn't match to the selection screen position. Is this normal?

If you can't or don't want to try robojumper's squad screen, a trick to make the centering problem a little better is an option in the config to set the UI screens up on a scrollbar. That way they're the original width and you can drag over to find tiles for squad member 7-8 etc. Still wont see the player models up top though.

Find this folder: \Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame\Config
Open: XComMSSU_Settings.ini
Change: SquadSelectUI=Fit all soldiers to read: SquadSelectUI=Scrollbar
Save

SquadSelectUI=Compatibility mode - Here's another option to allow other mods to dictate how the UI scaling happens, but it messed with some of the icons on mine.
