Perhaps you can just upload another version that requires "Fiber or Thatch" and a Dye colour?

1000 wood is fairly extreme. I run an RP server and things like hair and helmet skins are available at L0 for 0 engrams.

1000 wood is a huge cost for cuteness. Though i will admit, beauty is expensive.
