this issue is most likely an out of date mod on your server. It can be any other mod thats outdated.

I beg to differ. Our RP server (PGRP) is always up to date with all mods running on it and I seem to be the only one who can't seem to place the bowl of fruit and the Jack Daniels down on foundations, ceilings, the ground outside and on tables. I've droped the items on the ground and picked them back up, I've put them in a chest and then placed back into my inventory with no avail.

It might be a small bug that needs looking at.
